Ninh Cuong Bridge project advances in Ninh Binh

Construction is progressing on the Ninh Cuong Bridge project, which spans the Ninh Co River in Ninh Binh Province. The project has an estimated total investment of nearly 582 billion VND, funded in part by approximately 19.337 million USD from South Korea’s Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF).

The 1.65km bridge will feature an 892.2m main span, connecting Nghia Hung and Ninh Cuong communes. Designed for two motor vehicle lanes with a width of 12m, the structure consists of three main box girder spans and ten Super T girder approach spans.

Following initial delays related to land clearance involving over 140 households and 44,000 square meters of land, construction of the main components is now underway. Contractors are currently working on deep-drilled pile foundations to ensure structural stability. The project is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2027.
