Nino de Angelo discusses health struggles and personal life

German Schlager singer Nino de Angelo has faced significant personal and health challenges throughout his career. Since his breakthrough with ‘Jenseits von Eden’, the singer has dealt with gambling addiction, debt, and substance abuse.

Regarding his health, de Angelo has publicly disclosed a diagnosis of COPD, a chronic lung disease, which he received in 2016. He has also undergone multiple heart bypass surgeries and has struggled with depression and alcohol consumption. Despite these issues, he continues to perform and release music.

On a personal note, de Angelo has spoken about his relationship with his daughter, Louisa-Marie, noting that while they had difficult periods during her teenage years, they now maintain a very good relationship.
