Nino Haratischwili awarded Winfriedpreis in Fulda

Writer, dramatist, and theater director Nino Haratischwili has been awarded the Winfriedpreis in Fulda. The award, which includes a prize of 10,000 euros, was presented at the Stadtschloss.

The honor recognizes Haratischwili for her commitment to Europe, freedom, and democracy, specifically noting her perspective on the dangers of Russian imperialism. The presentation included praise from Fulda Mayor Heiko Wingenfeld and Eastern Europe expert Reinhard Veser.
