Nino Kukovec scores and receives red card in Romanian league match

Slovenian striker Nino Kukovec experienced a dramatic match during Csikszereda’s away game against Otelul Galati in the Romanian league. After entering the match at halftime, Kukovec scored his first league goal in Romania in the 52nd minute to equalize the score at 1-1.

However, his success was short-lived. Kukovec received a yellow card in the 58th minute and a second yellow card in the 77th minute, resulting in a red card and expulsion. Csikszereda was already playing with ten men at that point, as Dušan Vuković had been sent off four minutes earlier. Despite finishing the match with only nine players, Csikszereda managed to hold on for a 1-1 draw.

Kukovec recently moved to Romania on loan from the Slovakian club DAC Dunajská Streda.
