Ninove hosts Ezelsoor free book covering event

The annual Ezelsoor event will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Library and CC De Plomblom in Ninove. The event offers children aged 6 and older the opportunity to have their schoolbooks and notebooks covered for free using original paper designed by local youth.

In Ninove, students from Hartencollege Meerbeke provided the colorful designs for the project. Illustrators will also be present to add personal drawings to the books. In addition to book covering, the library will host various craft activities, such as making bookmarks and book monsters, with additional animation provided by Huis van het Kind.
