Ninoy Aquino International Airport expects 1.25 million Undas travelers
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is projected to handle approximately 1.25 million passengers during the nine-day Undas travel period from October 27 to November 4, 2026. This represents a 1 percent increase compared to the 1.24 million passengers recorded during the same period in 2025.
October 30 is forecast to be the busiest day, with an estimated 149,000 travelers passing through the terminals. To manage the surge, airport operator New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) is activating a 24-hour Command Center at Terminal 2 to oversee coordination and incident response.
Preparations include increased security through K-9 patrols and police presence, additional screening personnel, and heightened staffing at immigration, customs, and quarantine counters. NNIC is also coordinating with the Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Immigration, and other government agencies to ensure passenger assistance and operational stability.
