Nintendo announces Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition for Switch 2

Nintendo has announced a “Definitive Edition” of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity for the Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for release on February 25, 2027. The remaster aims to address performance issues found in the original Switch version by introducing 60FPS gameplay and increased enemy counts on screen.

This new edition will include all previously released DLC and a new, more challenging “Calamity” difficulty mode. Existing owners of the original Switch version will be eligible for a discount on the new edition, and the game will support save data transfers.
