Nintendo announces Mario Kart World European online event

Nintendo has announced the ‘European September Slipstream’, an online event for Mario Kart World, the new racing title available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00 on Saturday, September 26, until 22:00 on Sunday, September 27.

Participants will begin the event with a versus ranking of 3,000 points. Rankings will fluctuate based on race results, and players can compete in as many races as they wish throughout the weekend. A final leaderboard will be established once the event concludes, with the top 100 players expected to be published on the official website approximately one week later.

To participate, players must have a copy of Mario Kart World updated to the latest version, a Nintendo Switch 2 console with internet access, and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Players can join the event by selecting ‘Online’ from the main menu, searching for an event, and entering the event ID: 4245.
