Nintendo announces Splatoon 3 update Ver. 11.3.0

Nintendo has announced that update Ver. 11.3.0 for Splatoon 3 will be released on August 20 at 10:00 AM. The update introduces a new weapon, the ‘PET Shooter Replica’, which players can obtain via the lobby terminal if they possess a save file that has completed the main story of Splatoon Raiders.

The patch includes significant balance adjustments for various weapons and special abilities. The .52 Galon series will see an 8% reduction in ink coverage radius, and long-range weapons like the Lite 4K and R-PEN will face nerfs to ink efficiency. Conversely, the Carbon Roller series will receive buffs to its vertical swing damage attenuation and ink coverage speed.

Special weapon adjustments include a 13% increase in projectile speed for the Ultra Shot and a reduction in the ink suction capacity for the Ink Vac. The update also addresses various bugs and changes special weapon point requirements.
