Nintendo confirms no DLC or balance updates planned for Splatoon Raiders

Nintendo producer Seita Inoue has confirmed that Splatoon Raiders is intended to be a complete, standalone experience without plans for downloadable content (DLC) or ongoing balance updates. In an interview with Famitsu, Inoue explained that the game was designed from the outset to be a finished product, distinguishing it from the main Splatoon series which typically receives long-term expansions and mechanical adjustments.

While the development team does not intend to add new missions, areas, or weapons, they may still release updates to address critical technical issues. Future interventions will be focused primarily on bug fixes to ensure stability rather than evolving the gameplay or content. The development of the title reportedly began in early 2024, following the conclusion of the Grand Festival preparations.
