Nintendo’s eShop and Sony’s PlayStation Store are running a summer sale that updates many titles to their lowest ever prices. The promotion runs through July 15 for most games, with some offers extending to July 29.

Key discounts include the new fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio for ¥3,951 (60 % off), the Caligula series for as little as ¥500 on Switch and PS5/PS4, and the adventure title Osawari Detective Ozawa Rina for ¥1,500 (71 % off). Square Enix titles also see steep cuts: Final Fantasy VII Reverse Digital Deluxe Edition at ¥3,256 (60 % off), Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age at ¥1,914 on Switch, and a Final Fantasy I‑VI bundle for ¥5,503. These price reductions represent savings of up to 94 % compared with previous sale prices.
