Nintendo expands gaming catalog with Fire Emblem and LEGO Batman

The video game industry continues to see significant releases in 2026. Nintendo has released Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a tactical RPG for the Nintendo Switch 2. The title is noted for its extensive content, featuring four distinct stories that offer significant gameplay hours and polished mechanics.

Additionally, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has launched for hybrid consoles. This title is described as an ambitious entry in the LEGO gaming universe, covering various cinematic eras and famous moments from the character's history.

Speculation is also growing regarding the Pokémon franchise. There are rumors of a potential surprise release in October for either the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2, or both platforms. While no official confirmation exists regarding whether the release will be a new game, a remaster, or an expansion, the possibility has generated significant interest among fans ahead of the holiday season.
