Nintendo expands Zelda 40th Anniversary with Majora’s Mask content
Nintendo is expanding its Zelda 40th Anniversary celebrations with new content related to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. On October 8, 2026, the Nintendo Music service will add tracks from the game, including the main theme and music from various scenes.
Additionally, the Nintendo Today! app will feature new Majora’s Mask digital collectible cards starting October 4. These developments have fueled speculation regarding a potential remake for the successor to the Nintendo Switch, following the announced release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on November 5, 2026. While an IMDb listing suggests a Majora’s Mask HD version may be in post-production, Nintendo has not officially confirmed a remake.
