NES collection worth up to $100,000 stolen in Washington burglary

A massive collection of over 860 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games was stolen during a home burglary in Puyallup, Washington. The collection, built by Roger Holler over approximately 40 years, is estimated to be worth between $50,000 and $100,000.

Holler reported that the thieves cleared entire shelves, leaving the collection nearly complete; he was only three titles away from finishing the full North American library. Beyond the financial loss, Holler expressed deep emotional distress, noting that his first console was a gift from his late mother and the collection was intended to eventually support his grandchildren's college education.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests. The family noted that the theft occurred while they were out of town, and there is a hope that the perpetrators might return the items undamaged.
