Nintendo launches dozens of new Switch and Switch 2 games in North America

Nintendo announced a large batch of new titles for the Nintendo eShop in North America for the week of July 16, 2026. The releases span both the original Switch and the newer Switch 2 hardware and include board‑game sequel Culdcept Begins, the combined adventure Moss: The Forgotten Relic, the sandbox city‑builder Go‑Go Town, and the mystery‑puzzle game The Mermaid Mask. New entries also feature Denshattack, a train‑stunt game praised for its creativity, Fitness Boxing 3 with upgraded frame rate, and several classic arcade re‑releases such as Hyper Crash and SYVALION.

Additional content includes a paid DLC for Donkey Kong Bananza featuring Super Mario‑themed outfits, a new Pikmin accessory sweepstakes at Hot Topic, and a Super Mario‑inspired Crocs giveaway. Prices range from $2 to $54, with many titles offered as downloadable discounts. Players with a Switch 2 and active Nintendo Switch Online account can also sign up for a closed network test of "The Duskbloods" later in July.

The rollout highlights Nintendo’s effort to populate the Switch 2 library while keeping the original Switch supported, offering a mix of new indie releases, remastered classics, and promotional events for fans.
