Nintendo announced that its new story‑driven Splatoon spin‑off, Splatoon Raiders, will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026. Players assume the role of a mechanic who partners with the Deepcut trio of musician‑pirates to hunt treasure across the fictional Spirhalite archipelago, battling waves of enemy Salmonids. The game supports single‑player adventure as well as local or online co‑op for up to four players, with adjustable difficulty based on team size.

The Direct presentation on June 30, 2026, hosted by Nintendo of America and highlighted in other regions, revealed more than 100 weapon options, three new tank classes (Speed, Power, Tactical), and new gadgets tailored to Salmonid foes. New amiibo figures of the Deepcut characters will be released alongside the game, unlocking special outfits and upgrades.
