Nintendo releases Hello Luigi and Hello Peach apps for Switch

Nintendo has released two new free interactive applications, ‘Hello Luigi’ and ‘Hello Peach’, available for download on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Part of the ‘My Mario’ brand, these apps are designed for young children and allow users to interact with the characters' faces by stretching, poking, or spinning them.

Players can also trigger the appearance of various items and enemies, such as Super Mushrooms, Super Stars, and pipes, by selecting icons from a menu. A notable feature of these applications is a built-in break mechanism: after a period of play, the characters will fall asleep and cannot be woken up. This function is intended to help parents manage and limit their children's screen time, though the feature can be disabled via the settings menu.

The applications can be played offline once they have been downloaded.
