Nintendo releases free 1.1.0 update for Mario Tennis Fever with Galaxy Court and GameShare

Nintendo has rolled out a free version 1.1.0 update for Mario Tennis Fever on the Switch 2 platform. The patch adds a new Galaxy Court inspired by Super Mario Galaxy, featuring higher ball bounce and a spherical arena for a special Galaxy Court Match where Prankster Comets alter gameplay. A Black Hole Fever Racket creates a black‑hole effect that pulls nearby players and drains HP, while five new color variants for the Luma characters and Mario’s classic outfit (unlockable with five medals) are also introduced.

The update expands online play with GameShare via GameChat, allowing friends without the game to join matches; a Nintendo Switch Online subscription remains required. Additional character‑specification tweaks, bug fixes and minor balance changes round out the release. The update was made available globally in mid‑July 2026.
