FromSoftware sets August 2026 closed network test for The Duskbloods (Switch 2)

FromSoftware announced that the closed network test for its upcoming Switch 2 exclusive action game, The Duskbloods, will run from August 21 to August 24, 2026. The test will consist of several four‑hour sessions across the five days, with times varying by region (e.g., 3:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m. PDT on Aug 21, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. BST on Aug 21, etc.).

Applications open on July 22 and close on July 28. Prospective participants must own a Nintendo Switch 2, have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, and a Nintendo Account. Selected players will be notified on August 7 and receive a code to download the pre‑release build.

The test aims to evaluate server load, multiplayer stability, and game balance by connecting up to eight players per match. FromSoftware warned that bugs and performance issues are expected, noting that “A network test involves using a pre‑release version of the game to test performance prior to the commencement of service.” No official launch date for The Duskbloods has been announced.
