Nintendo Switch 2 Gains Two Free Games and Three Additional Leaked Titles

Nintendo announced that two upcoming Switch 2 titles will be available at no cost to eligible owners. Existing purchasers of the original Switch versions of Frictional Games’ survival‑horror "Soma" and Blue Backpack’s hand‑drawn metroidvania "Constance" will receive free upgrades to the Switch 2 versions, with "Soma" already on the eShop and "Constance" slated for release on July 30.

Separately, a leak reported by Nintendo‑industry watcher Nash Weedle suggests three more Switch 2 games are in development by French studio Slocap. The titles include a port of the soccer‑style game "Rematch," which would require a paid upgrade, and two other undisclosed projects. The leak notes that "Rematch" was previously unavailable on the original Switch and may see a physical release on the Switch 2 platform, with a projected launch shifted to 2027.
