Nintendo Switch 2 maintains strong software sales and library growth

Nintendo's Switch 2 continues to show strong performance in the UK software market. Mario Kart World remains a top contender, holding the sixth position in weekly sales despite several new releases. Additionally, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe saw a resurgence, climbing five spots to reach the sixteenth position.

Other notable titles in the UK rankings include EA Sports FC 27 at first place, with new entries such as Control Resonant and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse debuting in second and third place, respectively.

As the console enters its second year, the software library is expanding with various titles available at discounted prices, including Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Resident Evil 9 Requiem. Users have also identified a temporary workaround to obtain the Game of the Year winner It Takes Two for free on the platform via a specific error code trigger during the digital upgrade process.
