Nintendo announces global price increases for Switch 2

Nintendo has announced a global price increase for the Nintendo Switch 2, effective September 1, 2026. The adjustment is attributed to changing market conditions, including rising costs for microprocessors, logistical expenses, and global inflationary pressures.

In Mexico, the suggested retail price will rise from 13,599 to 13,999 pesos. In Brazil, the suggested price for the console will increase from R$ 4,499.90 to R$ 4,599.90. The company also noted price adjustments for the United States, where the system will move from $449.99 to $499.99, as well as revisions in Canada and Europe.

The price changes will affect the standard console models, official bundles, and key accessories. While the suggested prices are increasing, retail availability of older stock at previous prices may vary by distributor.
