Nintendo Switch 2 to host It Takes Two and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Several major video game titles have been confirmed for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Electronic Arts and Hazelight announced that the award-winning cooperative adventure ‘It Takes Two’ will be released on October 15, 2026. This revised version, ported by Turn Me Up Games, will feature improved resolution, frame rates, and visual effects, running at 1080p and 60 FPS in docked mode. Existing owners of the original Switch version can receive a free upgrade provided they use the same Nintendo account, have an internet connection, and access the Nintendo eShop, though this offer excludes certain regions such as Japan.
Additionally, Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver confirmed that ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition’ is slated for a 2027 release on the Nintendo Switch 2. The Royal Edition will include the base game, premium story expansions, exclusive equipment, and bonus missions. Technical features for this version include HDR support and Joy-Con 2 mouse mode. The game is expected to reach up to 1080p in handheld mode and up to 1440p via upscaling when connected to a TV.
