Nintendo Switch 2 Zelda remake download size revealed

The official digital download size for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2 has been revealed as 24.54 GB. This figure, discovered via datamined Nintendo eShop backend details, is a reduction from the previously estimated 27 GB.

The remake is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026. While the size is lower than many modern AAA titles that often exceed 100 GB, players may still need to manage their console's 256 GB internal storage to accommodate the installation.

According to official product details, the remake features rebuilt visuals, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, orchestral music, and modernized controls. It is also expected to include additional content such as the Hall of Fallen Foes, allowing players to revisit battles against previously defeated bosses and enemies.
