Nintendo Switch Online expands lineup with NBA 2K26 trial and new game titles

Nintendo announced a fresh batch of downloadable content for its Switch Online service. The release includes the complete edition of the souls‑like game Lies of P, a never‑released Virtual Boy racing title called ZERO RACERS, the adventure D‑HOPPER, and a new Pokémon Pokopia expansion pass featuring the Bubbly Basin area.

In parallel, Nintendo confirmed that NBA 2K26 will be offered as a Game Trial on the Switch Online platform from August 7 to August 13. Players can test local and online multiplayer modes, earn 100 Platinum Points on My Nintendo, and transfer save data to the full game if they purchase it later. The trial requires an internet connection and an NBA 2K account.

Both announcements target Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2 hardware, with the new titles available to Expansion Pack subscribers and the NBA 2K26 trial rolling out across North America and Europe.
