Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026. The new title expands on the existing sports franchise by introducing an island-based setting that serves as a central hub for various activities, emphasizing exploration and social play.

Included sports in the lineup feature boxing, bowling, basketball, golf, thumb wrestling, skateboarding with mouse controls, motorized cruising, propeller plane flying, and jump rope.

Technical details from the Nintendo Store database indicate the final download size for version 1.0.0 will be 9.83 GB, a reduction from the initial 16 GB estimate. Additionally, Nintendo has announced a bundle containing the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for a recommended price of €529.99, offering a €20 saving compared to purchasing the items individually.
