Nintendo Switch to get indie platformers DekaDuck and Dodo Duckie

Indie developer Asteristic Game Studio announced that its hand‑drawn action platformer DekaDuck will launch on Nintendo Switch. The Kickstarter‑funded title features a half‑duck, half‑robot bounty hunter navigating six hand‑drawn worlds, with mechanics such as detachable hands, dashes, and weapon upgrades. A release window has not been set.

Another indie title, Dodo Duckie, was confirmed for Nintendo Switch later this year. The puzzle platformer stars a duck named Dodo who uses a magical cap belonging to Capie the Capybara to flip between side‑scrolling and 3‑D perspectives, solving puzzles across whimsical planets to rescue a chicken family. Both games target Switch owners in the United States.
