Nintendo to open first North American store-within-a-store in Toronto

Nintendo store-within-a-store EB Games Toronto retail Nintendo Switch 2 Canadian retail expansion

Nintendo is launching its first North American “store-within-a-store” experience in Toronto, Canada, on October 17. The 1,500-square-foot space is located within the flagship EB Games on Yonge Street.

The new retail concept will feature Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software, themed displays, and various Nintendo merchandise. The location will also include playable demo stations and exclusive “My Mario” merchandise.

Nintendo of Canada executives noted that the move targets the country’s large gaming audience, stating that approximately 50 per cent of Canadians identify as gamers. The partnership with EB Games aims to create an experiential space for fans and families in downtown Toronto.
