Nintendo's Star Fox tops UK weekly software chart

Nintendo's latest Star Fox title debuted at No. 1 on the United Kingdom's physical software sales chart for the week ending 27 June 2026. The launch week sales were almost double those of Star Fox Zero on the Wii U and roughly 70 % higher than the launch figures for Star Fox 64 3D, indicating strong consumer interest in the franchise's return on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.

The high placement was part of a chart dominated by Nintendo releases, with EA Sports FC 26 in second place and Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition third. Other Nintendo titles such as Pokémon Pokopia, Mario Kart World and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom remained within the Top 40, underscoring the company's continued market strength in the UK.
