Niño Josele and Pantera Blue headline Cartagena Jazz Festival week one
The Cartagena Jazz Festival concludes its first week of performances on Sunday, November 1, at the El Batel Auditorium. The final day features two distinct musical styles: the emerging sounds of Pantera Blue and the established flamenco-jazz fusion of Niño Josele.
Pantera Blue is scheduled to perform at 12:30 at the El Batel terrace. Her style blends jazz with electronic textures, downtempo, and nu-jazz, drawing influences from artists such as Saint Germain and Nouvelle Vague.
In the evening at 19:00, Niño Josele will perform in the Antera Baus room. The concert commemorates the 20th anniversary of his album ‘Paz’, a project noted for its historical dialogue between flamenco guitar and the harmonic language of jazz, originally inspired by American pianist Bill Evans.
