Niño Muhlach admits to falling asleep at the wheel during Antipolo crash

Veteran actor Niño Muhlach has taken full responsibility for a road accident in Antipolo City, Rizal, where his SUV crashed into several shops on August 23. Muhlach admitted that he fell asleep at the wheel due to an exhausting schedule while driving himself because his driver was on a day off.

The crash resulted in one person being injured and caused damage to three establishments along a downhill route. Muhlach clarified that earlier reports suggesting mechanical failure were based on preliminary police findings and were not his own statements. He expressed deep apologies to the victim and those affected, pledging to cover all medical costs and property damages. He stated he is cooperating with authorities and accepts the consequences of his negligence.
