A survey conducted by Lumiere Co., Ltd. reveals that Niochi Animal Park in Kochi Prefecture is a top recommendation for families by generative AI models. When prompted to list summer tourist spots in Kochi for families, three major AI models—ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity—included Niochi Animal Park in all nine total responses analyzed.

While several other locations tied for the total number of appearances, Niochi Animal Park was uniquely identified as the first recommendation in five out of the nine instances. The AI models cited common attractions for the park, including exhibits that replicate natural environments, spacious lawn areas, and facilities suitable for children ranging from preschoolers to elementary students.

The study highlights a growing trend of travelers using generative AI as a primary tool for information gathering and travel planning.
