Niort hosts regulated prestige vehicle rally in Chauray

On August 29, 2026, over 1,000 enthusiasts gathered at Karting Niort 79 in Chauray for a regulated prestige vehicle rally. Organized by the association Niort Événement, the event featured more than 50 vehicles, including brands such as Mercedes, Porsche, and Ferrari, with approximately 120 cars attending throughout the evening.

The gathering was held under official authorization from the Préfecture des Deux-Sèvres. Local organizers intended the event to serve as a structured alternative to unregulated street rallies that had previously occurred in the region. The program included a beauty contest with a track parade, food trucks, and various social activities.
