Nipit Intarasombat warns politicians over Sirichoke Sopha investigation

Nipit Intarasombat, a former Democrat Party MP, issued a warning on social media regarding political tensions involving former MP Sirichoke Sopha. Nipit defended Sirichoke against disparaging remarks from some current MPs who reportedly dismissed him as merely a ‘retired soldier’ or questioned his background.

The conflict stems from Sirichoke’s investigation into the asset declarations of an unnamed MP. According to Nipit, the MP in question possesses approximately 2,000 million baht in assets with no clear source of income, and their spouse is a foreign national allegedly linked to overseas gambling operations.

Nipit, referencing Sirichoke’s background as a former special forces commander, warned that those mocking Sirichoke are in extreme danger, suggesting that the political fallout from these investigations could affect multiple individuals rather than just one.
