Nippon Ichi Software announces The Grimm Reapress and the Drearytale Monster

Nippon Ichi Software and NIS America have announced a new hand-drawn adventure game titled ‘The Grimm Reapress and the Drearytale Monster’. The title is scheduled for release on May 13, 2027.

Set in a world where a magical disease called ‘Paper Mortis’ transforms people into picture books and books into monsters, the story follows a young girl named Mono. In an attempt to save her sister from the incurable illness, Mono must navigate the Libratarium and team up with a vengeance-seeking monster named Mar.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. NIS America is offering limited and deluxe editions, with the limited edition priced at $89.99.
