Nirmata Enterprise for Kyverno certified for Nutanix Kubernetes Platform

Nirmata Enterprise for Kyverno (N4K) is now certified to run on the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) within the Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP). This integration aims to provide consistent governance and security policies across data centers, edge locations, and cloud environments, preventing security posture drift between clusters.

In a broader industry context, managing Kubernetes at the edge presents unique challenges that differ from traditional data center operations. Issues such as intermittent connectivity, the need to manage hundreds or thousands of clusters, resource-constrained hardware, and the lack of on-site physical operations teams have made individual cluster management unsustainable. To address this, the industry is shifting toward fleet management, which utilizes declarative, pull-based configurations and GitOps to manage populations of clusters as a single unit rather than managing them one by one.
