Niron Magnetics, the sole producer of high‑performance rare‑earth‑free permanent magnets, and ASPINA, a developer of precision motors and actuators, announced a supply agreement to commercialise rare‑earth‑free electric motors. The collaboration will target automotive, industrial, consumer, medical and emerging space applications, aiming to reduce dependence on scarce rare‑earth materials.

Eaton, a global power‑management company, teamed up with FranklinWH, a San‑Francisco‑based energy‑storage firm, to integrate Eaton’s AbleEdge smart circuit breakers with FranklinWH’s residential solar and battery systems. The joint solution is designed to simplify installation, improve load management and extend backup power for homes across North America, supporting the broader clean‑energy transition.
