NIS America announces GOBBLE platformer for 2027

NIS America has announced GOBBLE, a new 2D action-platformer developed by Nippon Ichi Software. The game features a hand-drawn art style and is scheduled for release in 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC.

In GOBBLE, players control a protagonist searching for their missing family with the help of Scythariel, a demonic bird that can transform into a scythe. A central gameplay mechanic involves devouring enemies to gain health and fuel special abilities used to overcome obstacles and uncover secrets. The game also emphasizes exploration and item collection within its hand-drawn environments.
