Nisa Municipality launches tender to rehabilitate former Velada primary school

The Nisa Municipality has launched a public tender for the rehabilitation of the former Velada primary school in the São Matias parish. The project, valued at approximately €121,464 (excluding VAT), aims to restore the building to the community while preserving its historical and symbolic value.

The planned works are expected to be completed within 120 days and include interventions on the roof, walls, and water and sewage networks. The technical project specifies the installation of a new metallic roof structure and masonry work for interior walls. This initiative is part of a broader municipal strategy to recover built heritage and enhance local history.
