Nishi-Nippon Railroad launches anniversary transit tickets

Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) has launched the sale of special one-day unlimited transit tickets for its trains and buses, valid only on September 22, 2026, to commemorate the company’s founding anniversary.

Available through Toyota Financial Services’ ‘my route’ app, two ticket types are offered: a ‘Nishitetsu Train Line All-Area Pass’ for 1,500 yen, covering the Tenjin Omuta, Dazaifu, Amagi, and Kaizuka lines along with various Nishitetsu group buses, and a ‘Fukuoka City Area Pass’ for 800 yen, focused on the Fukuoka city area.

This initiative is part of a project supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s 2026 Tourism MaaS Promotion Project, managed by the Kyushu MaaS Council. The goal is to encourage the use of public transportation and stimulate regional economic activity.
