Nishi-Nippon Railroad to offer unlimited transit passes on September 22

Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) will release a special digital unlimited ride ticket for its trains and buses on September 22, 2026, to commemorate the company's founding anniversary.

Two types of tickets will be available via the ‘my route’ mobile app: a full-area pass for 1,500 yen covering the Tenjin Omuta Line, Kaizuka Line, and various bus routes across Fukuoka, Kurume, Saga, and Omuta; and a Fukuoka City area pass for 800 yen covering the Tenjin Omuta Line between Tenjin and Sakuranamiki stations and local Fukuoka City buses.

The initiative is part of a project supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to promote public transportation and regional economic revitalization through MaaS (Mobility as a Service). Customers who complete a survey will receive 200 nimoca points at a later date.
