Nishitetsu announces anniversary promotions and Kyushu-go 60th anniversary exhibition

Nishitetsu (Nishi-Nippon Railroad) is marking its founding anniversary on September 22, 2026, by offering special unlimited ride digital tickets for its train and bus services in Kyushu. Two types of tickets will be available via the ‘my route’ app: a wide-area pass for 1,500 yen covering the Tenjin Omuta Line and various regional bus routes, and a Fukuoka city-specific pass for 800 yen.

Additionally, the Kyushu-go express bus service, which connects Fukuoka and Nagasaki, will celebrate its 60th anniversary of operation. To commemorate this milestone, Nishitetsu and Kyushu Express Bus will host a commemorative photo exhibition at the Nishitetsu Tenjin Highway Bus Terminal from September 30 to October 31, 2026. The exhibition will showcase the history of the route and the changing vehicle designs since its inception in 1966.
