Nissan and Hino Motors announce new industry collaborations

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. is upgrading its partnership with Yomiuri Land’s “CAR factory” attraction, transitioning from a supporting role to a partner company. Scheduled for a renewal opening on October 29, 2026, the attraction will feature new VR content including “Near-Future Factory” and “Micro Car” modes. The facility will also feature a permanent display of the third-generation Nissan Leaf.

Separately, gaming peripheral manufacturer HORI has collaborated with Hino Motors to develop professional-grade driving simulators. Designed to address the growing demand for foreign logistics drivers in Japan, the systems simulate various vehicles including passenger cars, medium-duty trucks, and large buses. The simulators, which feature force feedback and multi-language support, are set to debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.
