Nissan announces new Kicks ROCK CREEK custom model

Nissan has officially announced the new Kicks ROCK CREEK custom model, scheduled for release in Japanese dealerships on December 23. Following the X-Trail, this is the second model in the ROCK CREEK series, designed to blend compact SUV handling with rugged outdoor aesthetics.

The ROCK CREEK edition features a black-themed exterior with lava-red accents on the front protector, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and emblems. The interior also utilizes lava-red styling and includes practical waterproof seats designed for outdoor activities like camping. Available configurations include 2WD and the e-4ORCE electric 4WD system, with high-end Utility Spec trims offering advanced infotainment and driver assistance features.

While the e-4ORCE system provides enhanced stability and control in snow or rain, it comes with practical trade-offs. Compared to the 2WD model, the e-4ORCE version sees a reduction in cargo capacity from 476L to 340L due to the drivetrain components. Additionally, the 4WD system increases vehicle weight and results in lower WLTC fuel economy compared to the 2WD variants.
