Nissan GT-R influence seen in Italdesign collaboration and custom Elgrand

Nissan's high-performance lineage is highlighted through two distinct automotive projects involving the GT-R platform. In Italy, a collaboration between Nissan and Italdesign resulted in the GT-R50 by Italdesign. Based on the 2018 Nissan GT-R NISMO, this limited-edition model celebrates the 50th anniversaries of both the GT-R and Italdesign. The vehicle features significant design modifications, including a lowered roofline, redesigned LED headlights, and a reworked interior utilizing carbon fiber and Alcantara. Only 19 units of this special edition are expected to exist globally.

In Japan, a custom Nissan Elgrand (E52) showcases extreme modification by integrating parts from the Nissan GT-R (R35). The vehicle features a custom-built wide-body kit with one-off overfenders and a rear bumper and quad-exhaust system created by combining original Elgrand and GT-R R35 components. The build maintains its original Aurora Mauve paint while utilizing Air Force air suspension and Work VS KF♯ wheels.
