Nissan is celebrating 65 years of operations in Mexico, reaffirming the country as one of its most critical global hubs for manufacturing, innovation, and growth. Nissan Mexicana currently stands as the company’s fourth-largest operation worldwide, having produced more than 17 million vehicles to date.
In the last fiscal year, Nissan sold over 276,000 units in the Mexican market, representing a 6.8% increase that outpaced the overall industry growth of 1.4%. The company maintains a market share of nearly 18% and has held sales leadership in the country for 18 consecutive years.
Looking ahead, Nissan is planning a significant portfolio overhaul, including the introduction of 11 new products in 2026. The company is also focusing on electrified technologies, including the expansion of its e-POWER technology, which has already seen over 40,000 units sold in Latin America.
