Nissan Micra earns five-star Green NCAP sustainability rating

The sixth generation of the Nissan Micra, the model's first fully electric version, has achieved a five-star rating from Green NCAP for sustainability. This rating is reserved for vehicles considered ‘highly efficient electric vehicles’ and evaluates the entire lifecycle of the car, from production to end-of-life treatment.

In Green NCAP testing, the Micra received a score of 10/10 for greenhouse gas emissions and 9.3/10 for energy efficiency. The vehicle also received a ‘good’ rating for performance in cold weather conditions. Designed primarily for European urban environments, the compact car measures less than 4 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width.

The electric Micra is available with two battery options: a 40kWh battery providing up to 317 km of range (WLTP) with 80kW DC fast charging, and a 52kWh battery providing up to 416 km of range (WLTP) with 100kW DC fast charging. The vehicle features NissanConnect with integrated Google services and regenerative braking systems to support daily efficiency.
