Nissan Rogue Hybrid 2027 to debut in U.S. with e-POWER technology
Nissan has announced the 2027 Rogue Hybrid, marking the debut of its e-POWER series-hybrid technology in the United States. Unlike traditional parallel hybrids, this system uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine exclusively as a generator to charge a 1.67 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery then powers two electric motors that provide all-wheel drive and direct propulsion to the wheels.
The powertrain produces a combined 225 horsepower and is estimated to achieve approximately 38 mpg combined. The vehicle features advanced technology including e-Pedal regenerative braking, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and integrated Google ecosystems in higher trims.
Nissan is accelerating the launch of the fourth-generation Rogue, with initial inventory expected to arrive at dealerships in November 2026. Pricing for the hybrid model varies by trim, with the entry-level SV starting between $35,490 and $37,065, while the top-tier Platinum trim is expected to reach between $43,490 and $45,065.
