Nissan to launch next-generation Note in 2027

Nissan is preparing for a major overhaul of its compact car lineup, with a full model change for the Note and Note Aura scheduled for 2027. The next-generation Note is expected to feature a third-generation e-POWER system, which includes a new 1.4L engine and a highly integrated 5-in-1 powertrain unit designed to improve efficiency and reduce weight.

To support this global strategy, Nissan is restructuring its production capabilities. Nissan Motor Kyushu will serve as a core global production hub for B and C-segment vehicles, handling the production of the Note, Note Aura, and Kicks. This shift aims to strengthen Nissan's business foundation by expanding exports and diversifying markets, with a long-term goal of reaching an annual production scale of 1 million units in Japan.
