Nissan unveils Datsun S30 Concept at SEMA show
Nissan and Chris Forsberg have introduced the Datsun S30 Concept at the SEMA show, a restomod that blends the classic S30 series silhouette with modern performance components. The vehicle features a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine sourced from the new Nissan Z, upgraded with Garrett turbochargers and Nismo parts to exceed the standard 400 horsepower.
The concept is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, a Nismo limited-slip differential, and a dual-disc clutch. To ensure track capability, the build includes a racing fuel tank, a high-performance fuel pump, and an Evolved chassis featuring Techno Toy Tuning components, including new control arms and a steering rack.
Exterior modifications include a carbon fiber hood, trunk lid, bumpers, and spoiler, all finished in Seiran Blue. The car sits on 17-inch Nismo wheels and utilizes Wilwood braking systems, consisting of six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear.
